Lemoore West, California
Lemoore is home to two Leprino Foods facilities, Lemoore East and Lemoore West. A city of 25,000 residents (2010 census), Lemoore is located between Los Angeles and San Francisco, offering all the excitement and allure of cosmopolitan amenities and attractions. 30 miles to the north is the city of Fresno, which sits at the base of three national parks – Kings Canyon, Sequoia and Yosemite. In addition, a brief two-hour drive will place you directly on the expansive Pacific Coast. The community surrounding Lemoore boasts a rich “agritourism” of the many wineries in this rich, agricultural area. Home to Naval Air Station Lemoore and West Hills College, Lemoore is a well-rounded and fast-growing community in Kings County.
Lemoore’s climate is dry and mild in the winter months with average temperatures in the mid-50s, and an average of high-90s in the warm summer months of July and August. Average annual rainfall is approximately 10 inches.
The Lemoore Union High School District is dedicated to providing a quality education to its over 30,000 students in the district. A strong co-ed athletic department, Lemoore High is home to the Lemoore Tigers.
