Regular, full-time, union-free employees of Leprino Foods Company are eligible for the benefits below.
Service Recognition
Leprino Foods Company formally recognizes service anniversaries by demonstrating the value placed on long-term service to the Company. After five years of continuous service, employees will receive a logo pin on their anniversary date. Awards for ten years of service and at every five-year interval after that will be awarded at the annual Christmas Party. Service awards include a special signet ring that is only available to our employees that have reached their 10th anniversary.
Gina Awards
Gina Awards are presented to those management and exempt (salaried) employees who are nominated for the award by their fellow employees and selected by Senior Management. First-time winners receive a plaque and a check for $1,000. Second-time winners receive an award plaque and a 4-day paid vacation for two anywhere in the US. Third-time winners receive a plaque and a two-week vacation for two anywhere in the world. Employees are eligible for Gina awards in the following categories:
Mike Leprino, Sr. Performance Awards
The Mike Leprino, Sr. Award is given to 10 winners, one for each Leprino facility. The Awards are presented annually at each location (including the corporate office) to a single non-exempt person whose demonstrated performance is clearly exemplary of the award criteria. Award recipients embody the characteristics most valued by Mike Leprino, Sr. – work ethic, loyalty, tough-mindedness and a positive attitude. These people have consistently demonstrated exceptional performance and made outstanding contributions to Leprino Foods over time. They display a passionate commitment to continuous improvement in product quality and/or customer service (internal or external), and to DTRTRTFTATT (Do the right things right the first time all the time). Recipients have an infectiously positive attitude that inspires and motivates others. They care about how to make the business better and actively participate in the problem solving process. By their passion, dedication and enthusiasm they are a role model amongst their peers.
Go The Extra Mile Award
This award will be given to those employees, suppliers, and service providers to Leprino Foods Company who are considered to provide work or services that go beyond Leprino’s high expectations or who are willing to “Go The Extra Mile” to help us maintain the status of “We Deliver Excellence”. These certificates will be presented at Team Meetings, Plant Meetings, or Company functions as appropriate.
